Insert the template at the top of articles for subjects original to Star Wars: The Force Awakens or a directly related product, such as its novelization. Articles about subjects not original to The Force Awakens but that contain The Force Awakens spoilers will continue to use Format:Tl.
Where this says "a subject original" to The Force Awakens or a directly related product, this means that only pages that are unique to The Force Awakens would have this template. That means pages like Kylo Ren, Rey's speeder, or Maz Kanata's castle. It does not include Luke Skywalker/Canon, Leia Organa, or other existing subjects that are returning for The Force Awakens. The justification here is that, to some people, the fact that Luke and Leia are in The Force Awakens is a spoiler unto itself, so we'll stick to Format:Tl for previously-established subjects.
